As a dog lover myself, I totally impulse bought this book for my kindle. I grew up with 3 german shepards and they were my best friends.

As I'm older now, I have one german shepard and one black lab. Now THEY are the best of friends.

These stories reminded me of my childhood growing up with my 3 shepards... very nostalgic read for me.
Another great book in the series
I love this book. I have never read any of the "Chicken Soup" books, so I did not know they were short (very) stories. These stories will bring a tear to your eye, or a smile to your face. Again, a must for all dog lovers. If you take the time to bring your dog to a dog park, you must read this. You will not wish to put this book down.
I'm currently reading the book now. To date I have read three of the Chicken Soup for the soul dog books.
With great enjoyment I have laughed and cried during the readings of these books
I really want a dog, but my boyfriend won't let me! So these books give me the dog fix I need. Like any good dog story, a few made me cry, but I found them all inspiring and well-chosen. There are many different stories but they are varied enough to not get repetitive. They probably wouldn't do much for someone who doesn't love dogs (hence the title), but I've already reread it twice
Came promptly and was in excellent condition. It's a gift and I'm sure TNT aunt will like the tails (tales) 😉in this edition. Chicken Soup never fails!
I have enjoyed all of the Chicken Soup's I have bought over the years, but this is the absolute best. I hope they consider a Dog Lover 2 and more. It was so refreshing to read stories from other's who view their pals as a true family member. Note I refrain from saying "dogs" as my two bassets are my "sons" as was my first basset.I often confuse people when I speak of my "sons".

As I read, I laughed and I cried. I stopped often to get down on the floor and hug my boys. At times I went to my fridge and touched the picture of Sebastian, who with the help of our vet, when to the bridge 2/20/04.

It would take too much time to try to write all that I thought was great about this book, but will say each and every story was great. Highly recommend this to anyone who hates hearing "it is just a dog"
